CELEBRATE ROTARY IN DISTRICT 7350 BY MEETING
OUR FOUNDATION GOAL OF EVERY ROTARIAN, EVERY YEAR!

The

PDG Jack Corderman

challenge is before us. Are we up to it? As we celebrate our 100th year of service to mankind, we in Rotary leadership are called upon to demonstrate to our fellow Rotarians how our Foundation saves and changes lives as we pool our time, talent and resources in the work of our Foundation.

Every Rotarian is asked to make a point of learning about the exciting and interesting projects our Foundation is involved in around the world. We can do this by reading our Rotarian Magazine and/or by visiting the Rotary.org website.

On November 13, 2004 we are going to have a wonderful District-wide Foundation Dinner in State College, PA. Mark your calendar now. Don't let this date get away. Move information will follow. This is going to be a great event and a wonderful night of Rotary Fellowship. You will not want to miss it.

Club Presidents are reminded that on Saturday, July 31st, in Bedford at the Arena we are going to have our District Foundation Training for all of the Foundation Chairs in all of our 45 clubs. Do not be left out. Rotary is "Service Above Self" and that "Service" begins with training. With training we can be of effective "Service". Without training we are flying blind. Each Club is asked to have at least one member present on this day. Your club will profit from this training.

Our Rotary Foundation needs the financial support of each and every District 7350 member. Together we can do so much more to improve world health, educate the illiterate, feed the hungry and generally improve the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves. We can give people of different cultures the opportunity to learn from each other and work together for world understanding, tolerance and peace.

The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International should be every Rotarian's first charity of choice for changing and saving lives!
