In 2006, we sent a team to the Rotary District in north central Italy (Milan, Italy). The dates of the trip were April 1-30, 2006. Earlier, in 2005, our Rotary district hosted a vocational exchange team from their district, #2050. The GSE team was in our district from April 16 through May 16, 2005. The team leader to Italy was Debra Dellaposta from the Altoona Rotary club. Deb has traveled in Italy previously and was a huge help to the district when the Italian GSE team was in Altoona. Deb learned Italian and even completed her Rotary GSE leader application in Italian and in English! Deb had been in contact with Cecilia from the Italian GSE team and others before going over. Deb is knowledgeable about Rotary, and has served Rotary in various capacities, and has shown an interest in "service above self" by service in her Rotary club and the district.
